You Can Now

A quarterly of leadership and design in dialogue.

You Can Now Magazine is a new print title designed to reframe what leadership looks like today — not through corporate clichés, but through real, human stories told with craft and imagination. Launched by YCN to support their programmes and community, the magazine deepens and reflects the conversations happening across the wider platform. Alex Hunting Studio was commissioned to lead the design and art direction from the ground up. The brief called for a magazine that felt both editorially rigorous and visually expressive — capable of holding space for big ideas while delivering creative impact on every page.

A key part of the creative strategy was an ambitious approach to photography, illustration and infographics. The magazine features original photographic commissions from leading image-makers including Max Miechowski, Jason Koxvold and Leon Chew. Illustration also plays a vital role in defining the tone of voice, with art from Igor Bastidas bringing energy, clarity and colour to more conceptual features. Mike Lemanski's Infographics and data visuals were approached with the same editorial care, acting not as decoration, but as another mode of storytelling. Physically, the magazine is printed with fluorescent spot colours, section-sewn binding and subtle embossing — designed to feel premium, tactile, and built to last. A confident typographic system and flexible grid allow for rhythm and variety across departments and long-form reads. The result is a magazine that’s both smart and spirited — offering a creative, unexpected take on what it means to lead well in today’s world.
