An independent publishing platform for the underrepresented.

Blanc is a creative platform that presents a diverse and underrepresented perspective of the fashion, art and music world. They publish a quarterly print magazine showcasing a variety of talent both established and undiscovered from various countries across the world. We were tasked with redesigning the publication and art directing the first two issues of the relaunched format.

Typography Palette

The typography palette pairs the 'Items' type family with 'Stanley'. Items is a contemporary typeface inspired by early digital serifs like Times and Garamond. Items offers three widths in six weights, all with matching italics allowing for a range of beautiful editorial applications, across captions, decks and display settings. 'Stanley', another contemporary Times revival, offers a slightly more practical body text typeface, whilst still pairing comfortably with Items.
